The Club of the most beautiful bays around the world, which currently has about thirty members, including: the Bay of Mont-Saint-Michel, the Somme Bay, Gulf of Morbihan in France but also the Bay of San Francisco and the Bay Ha Long has just admitted within it the Bay of La Baule.

Created 15 years ago, this club is a real place of exchange which aims “to become the international reference for an intelligent management of coastal areas.” Admission requirements are particularly stringent, since each bay must have at least two criteria recognized by UNESCO in the categories of cultural or natural property.

The Bay of La Baule has conquered the club members mainly by:

- The desire to preserve its architectural heritage consists of thousands of houses of character,

- Its ongoing commitment for 20 years to protect and enhance the iconic pine forest of La Baule,
